Hanover Mills Review- pros & Cons
Corporate 0ffice- Actual decisions- not sales staff- often neglect important community concerns - MONTHS of multiple neighbors with noise, police vists, etc. Lanscaping very average. - iften faing weeds, devrus. Maintanence iften has keft debrus/ spilled readh in plain sight fir days. The sales staff is great & wirks with you; HOWEVER, tge have no power to make ANY DECISIONS- none whatsoever. Repairs take forever, and several times— bigg isdues remedied 80%. Not quite complete. Notvreturning for drywall gishing, repainting. The true probkem exists at Corporate level- the Silverman group. Dig real deep. Awesome location & majirity of wonderful neighbors.

This place is in a nice location, everyone has been pleasant and accommodating.
filthy, noisy, no maintenance
2 years in, no trash pick up yet we are still paying for trash removal. dumpster are consistently overflowing with trash flying everywhere. pool still not opened, at least 4-5 different maintenance men since moving in, so many issues with apartment since moving in - burst pipes, no HVAC all 2024 summer, persistent water pressure issues. no parking anywhere.
Huge parking issues
Finding parking is always a hassle and sending an email with any questions are ignored or unanswered .
I would not rent here
• Buildings show heavy wear after only a few months. • Garbage regularly piles up around dumpsters. • Stray raccoons and cats are common. • Parking is limited and often far from your unit. • Snow removal is minimal; residents dig out their own cars. • Balconies sit over parking lots, enjoy the exhaust fumes. • Trains (& Polar Express) run loudly several times a day. • Mail is disorganized, and packages are frequently misplaced. • Maintenance is slow, even for issues they create. • Amenities are overstated; the clubhouse offers little value, and the pool opened late with heavy restrictions. • Units offer little privacy due to poor design. • Management becomes difficult to reach after move-in. • Marketing photos do not match the true condition of the property. • Wi-Fi is weak beyond the top floor; remote work is unreliable. • AC struggles to cool evenly. • Water heater is undersized; only enough for two short showers with wait time in between. Renters insurance must be reverified through a third-party vendor with no clear lease requirement or transparency on standards. At $5,000 a month, expectations should be high. They are not met here. I would not rent here again
